Q. Do I need my own web hosting?
A. Infomaxim is a fully managed service - there's no updates to install, no security patches to worry about, no hosting to organise. Everything you need to get started is included - just point your domain name, add your security certificate and enter your payment gateway details.
Q. Can I install Infomaxim on my own server?
Infomaxim includes components which are installed across our hosting cloud on multiple servers including email broadcasting services, analytics processing engines, reporting tools and database storage. We've found we can offer our users are much more affordable service by eliminating the complexity of hosting such a large application.
Q. How safe is my data?
A. Your content, images and data are kept on RAID storage and backup up to secondary drives also located at the data centre (depending on your plan). A RAID uses many hard drives to store information more than once, so if one drive fails, it can be replaced with effecting your information. So, generally your data is very secure and safe. However, if you wish to get a copy of your informaiton to retain your own local backup, our reporting tools provide powerful export options so you can take a copy of your data in Excel, XML, CSV and various other formats.
Q. How often can I change my plan?
A. You can change your plan at any time, once per month. Our billing system will pro-rata the change based on the monthly usage of your old and new plans in the month you make the change.
Q. Do you charge transaction fees?
A. No, the monthly cost is the full cost. The only transaction fees are charged by your chosen payment getway provider and/or your bank.
Q. Does Infomaxim include email accounts?
A. We will configure your domain to use Google App's free 10 email account service.
Q. What technology does Infomaxim run on?
A. The Infomaxim system spans many servers and components, all running Microsoft based technologies including ASP.NET and ASP.
